Evidence on Yoga: Future for Health & Care 2026

Date: 21 March 2026
Location: Linköping University, with the possibility of digital participation via Zoom

About the Conference:
This conference is a collaboration between Linköping University (LiU) and the Swedish Institute of Medical Yoga (SIMY). The aim is to offer knowledge, inspire and share insights through researchers, practitioners and policy makers sharing their insights and knowledge and discussing the important role of evidence-based yoga in healthcare and society at large. The conference will feature inspiring lectures, panel discussions and practical sessions.

Main topics that will be covered include:
Evidence-based yoga, Medical yoga. Mindfulness and meditation. Implementing yoga in healthcare and International perspectives on integrative holistic health.

Target group:
The conference is aimed at medical and therapeutic yoga professionals, healthcare policy makers, patient organisations, researchers in yoga and related fields, and international experts and speakers.
