Quality & Sustainability

SIMY is actively working to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, in particular the goal of good health and well-being (SDG3). We strongly believe in the potential of yoga to improve both physical and mental health, and we are working to integrate yoga into different sectors of society to achieve this goal.

Sustainability / 2030 Agenda

We are actively working to integrate yoga into the healthcare, community and education systems to promote health and well-being in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030. A central part of our work is to use yoga as an effective intervention to manage and prevent various chronic diseases, also known as non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

The work of SIMY

SIMY's work is based on the evidence model and includes the promotion and development of research, patient-centredness and accessibility through eHealth tools, and the development of manual-based training and support materials for application. The work is systematic, circulating and continuously evolving in line with research.

Based on the WHO-GCTM definitions of yoga, SIMY has developed through long clinical experience and research a conceptual framework and model MOSI® (MediYoga Standardized Intervention) A standardisation of MediYoga for the promotion of strengthened evidence, knowledge and application.
